„The world progress will have no meaning so long as there are unhappy children”
„Es gibt keine großen Entdeckungen und Fortschritte, solange es noch ein unglückliches Kind auf Erden gibt“
Albert Einstein (1879 – 1955, German-Swiss Physiker and Nobel-Prize-Winner)
The 100%-Gospel-Workshop-Berlin wants to support establishments, which give children the opportunity to enjoy a promising future filled with love.
We believe that music connects people more than words… we believe that every little step towards a better future for the children of our world will bare fruits…If we can even help just one single child, this step is worth while…and a network can always expand…
"Wildwasser e.V." (www.wildwasser-berlin.de):
This spring we would like to support "Wildwasser e.V. - Arbeitsgemeinschaft gegen sexuellen Missbrauch an Mächen" (Berlin): www.wildwasser-berlin.de, a club that renders help and guidance to girls who have experienced sexual abuse.
"Wildwasser e.V." was established in 1982 by women who founded a self-help group, due to the fact that they experienced sexual abuse as young girls. Together with professional women from various work areas they formed a public club in 1983 and are since then an open source for public discussions regarding the topic of sexual abuse."
The club sets sexual abuse as their theme in sociopolitical coherence and is committed to changing the crime structure in society, siding with girls and women who have experienced sexual crime, supporting girls and women on their way of self-determination from all different types of cultures and religious backgrounds, different sexual orientations and welcoming all with or without handicaps." "Wildwasser e.V." offers: "self-help and advice for women, a night café for women, a shop for women, a girls adivsory center, girls emergency assistance, DonyA, assisted single accommodation, ambulant upbringing assistance."
We would like to show their director our sincere gratitude, who has shared a large amount of this wonderful work for girls and women with us during our personal meeting and we are excited and happy to be able to help!
"Die Arche" (www.kinderprojekt-arche.de):
The "Christliche Kinder- und Jugendhilfswerk "Die Arche" e.V." was founded in 1995 by Bernd Siggelkow in Berlin. The goal of this club is to get children off of the streets, to act against social deficits and to place children back into the centre of society. As part of their policy, the "Arche" offers free daily warm and nutritious meals, assistance with homework, effective free time solutions, such as sports, music and mainly a lot of attention, because children need confirmation in regards to their self-confidence. They need the feeling of being important and loved. Meanwhile, the "Arche" has five locations in Germany - more are to follow, due to the unfortunate fact of the high demand of such establishments. At present, there are a total of 70 employees responsible for over 1.000 children in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Potsdam."
"Arbeitskreis zur Förderung von Pflegekindern e.V." (www.arbeitskreis-pflegekinder.de):
Since 1974 is has been the main goal of the "Arbeitskreis zur Förderung von Pflegekindern e.V.", to ensure their safety and care and therefore also that of the foster parents, who have chosen to care for these children.
"Parents who are employed and want reassurance of the good care of their children, and children, who miss the support of their families need a net that will catch and support them."
This workforce has created such a net in Berlin, which is independent in an orthodox way. There are over 600 professionals that work hand in hand for foster children and foster parents and the future of them all on a non-profit base!
More information concerning these establishments can be found on their individual websites. There you can also find contact persons, addresses and telephone numbers!
